Beeswax wraps are a sustainable, eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap for storing food. They're made from pure cotton fabric infused with a blend of New Zealand beeswax, damar tree resin and Pacific coconut oil.

To use them, you simply mold the wrap around your food or dish with the warmth of your hands to create a seal. Bags are folded and pressed closed to seal.

They’re washable and reusable, which makes them a popular choice for reducing single-use plastic waste.

Our reusable wraps and bags are made from 100% cotton with a natural solution of beeswax, tree resin, and coconut oil. So much nicer than plastic! 

Wash with cool water and dishwashing detergent after each use.   Rinse well and air dry.

Ensure your wrap is thoroughly dry before storing away - folded in a drawer, scrunched in a bowl, or rolled in a jar.

Keep away from all heat including direct sunlight, hot water, the dishwasher and microwave.

All our products are reusable. With proper care our wraps will last you a whole year or more! Once they reach the end of their life, pop them in your home compost, or they make excellent firelighters. Think of how much plastic you'll save! 

We keep our LilyBee Wraps in our utensils drawer and also have some rolled in a jar for easy access in the kitchen.  Choose a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight that works for you.

Absolutely! You can refresh and pasteurize your wraps by putting them in the oven on low temperatures around 80-100 degrees celsius for about five minutes. We also sell blocks of our wax blend so you can add more wax if your wrap has become depleted. (We recommend a baking sheet with wax paper then the wrap on top to avoid getting wax on your tray and oven).

All the LilyBee Wraps and Bags are waterproof due to our secret LilyBee recipe. This means the bags can hold wet foods such as curries, or pasta and sauce... but lets be realistic - a bowl or jar is probably more convenient and can be heated where your wraps can not. Of course, Lilybee makes a great cover for your container as it seals so well.

Our wraps don't alter the taste of foods, however, when initially receiving the product you may be able to smell a very subtle beeswax aroma. The scent will diminish after a couple of uses - much to our customers' disappointment!

We charge a flat rate courier fee of $7.50 for deliveries in New Zealand (no rural surcharge!). Free delivery is available for orders over $70

Our shipping rates are based on weight. It is best to proceed to checkout with the items of choice to find out the rates for your region. We use multiple courier services to provide the best option available to our customers in terms of price and speed.

We try to use the fastest delivery service possible so you can receive your  order as soon as possible. Once sent, it takes 1-3 business days for the parcels to be delivered in New Zealand and up to 3 weeks for international deliveries.

We generally send our parcels within 3 working days, but please remember that all of our products are handmade, and during sales and times of high demand your items may need to be made to order, which could take a few days longer to dispatch.
